Hala Gąsienicowa is one of the most important, if not the most important, junction of tourist trails in the Polish Tatra Mountains. Marked paths lead, among others, to Kuźnice in Zakopane, to Kasprowy Wierch, Ciemniak (and the other Czerwone Wierchy), Świnica, Głosiec, Orla Perć, to the Dolina Pięciu Stawów. There are also plenty of resting places for mountain hikers.
