In the very center of Jarosławiec, right next to the lighthouse, this short man with a pipe, dressed in a historical costume, symbolizes the fishing roots of the town. The fisherman's monument is a bronze sculpture made by Poznań artist Robert Sobociński. The facility was built in 2013 and immediately became an attraction for tourists. Fishing appears in the first mentions of Jarosławiec already in the 15th century and remains a source of income for some families to this day. It is also worth visiting the fishing harbor in Jarosławiec.
