The popularity of the Central Beach is due to its location and the pier located next to it. The Kołobrzeg pier is 220 meters long, 9 meters wide, and the walking distance is 4.5 meters above sea level. Unlike piers in Gdynia, Gdańsk or Sopot, the local pier is not wooden, but reinforced concrete. It is even the longest reinforced concrete pier in Poland. It was put into use on June 19, 1971, and there is a cafe at its end. In the period from May to September, entry to the pier is subject to a fee, but after the season you can walk on it without restrictions.
