Located right next to the port in Kąty Rybackie, the museum collects monuments related to the history of fishing and shipbuilding on the Vistula Lagoon. The exhibition, not coincidentally located in former boatbuilding workshops, presents traditional fishing boats, including a 10-meter long barge powered by a sail, fishing tools from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, as well as a historic boatbuilding workshop of the Schmidt family from Łaszka near Sztutowo. The exhibition is enriched by: a rescue boat transport vehicle, ice fishing tools, a unique iceboat "Ludowy 8" and an artistic accent - an extraordinary sculpture "Łódź" by Dominik Kotarba, made of several dozen thousand sticks thrown up by the sea. The museum is also a space for educational activities related to the history of fishing and thematic temporary exhibitions.
