The Cormorant and Gray Heron Reserve in Kąty Rybackie was established in 1957 on an area of 10.8 ha to protect the breeding sites of the black cormorant and gray heron. It is located in part of the Vistula Spit Landscape Park.
It is the largest cormorant breeding colony in Poland and one of the largest in Europe.
