Picturesque loop through Cieńków and the Adam Małysz Ski Jump
Our adventure begins with a ride on the SN "Cieńków" cable car to Cieńków Niżni. This is the first opportunity to admire the beautiful panoramas of the Silesian Beskids and catch your breath in the mountain climate. After leaving the upper station of the cable car, we turn right and enter the comfortable trail along the ridge of Cieńków, leading us towards the Adam Małysz Ski Jump.
Along the way, we find rest points where we can admire the mountain views, enjoy the silence, and relax amidst nature. After walking about 1.3 km, we are greeted by an impressive view of the start tower of the ski jump. This is the perfect place to take a break and capture the route in photos! In the tower, there is a cozy café "K-120", where you can enjoy aromatic coffee, as well as a shop with souvenirs.
After resting, we have a descent via a modern cable car to the lower part of the ski jump. It's worth taking a moment here to closely examine the structure of the jump – the run and landing area are truly impressive!
Next, from the parking lot at the ski jump, we turn right and circle its buildings to enter a picturesque walking and biking path running alongside the Malinka stream. A pleasant stroll amidst the sound of water and greenery is a perfect end to our hike. After about 1 km, we reach the parking lot by the Hotel, where we started our route.
The loop can also be done in the opposite direction – starting from taking the cable car to the upper station of the ski jump, and then heading towards Cieńków Niżny.
This route is ideal for both mountain hiking enthusiasts and those looking for a peaceful walk. Regardless of which version we choose – unforgettable experiences are guaranteed.
Attention! Attraction available seasonally - for details, ask at the Reception or at the KL "Cieńków" ticket office.
