Today, under favorable weather conditions, a trial evacuation of passengers took place at the Cieńków cable car site in Wisła. In beautiful, sunny weather, the participants of the exercise had the opportunity to experience an extraordinary adventure, and the entire operation went smoothly and without interruptions.

The evacuation was conducted in accordance with the requirements outlined in the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure of July 22, 2020. The exercises, in which the Beskid Rescue Group GOPR from Szczyrk participated, were carried out using alpine techniques, which enabled the efficient and safe descent of passengers suspended on the cable car route. The entire operation was supervised by the Transport Inspector of the Technical Supervision Office.

The professionalism of the evacuation teams deserves special recognition. Both the GOPR rescuers and the cable car staff demonstrated exceptional preparation and excellent coordination of actions. The volunteers who participated in the trial had a unique opportunity to experience something that many will remember as an unforgettable moment. Although this was just a trial, the emotions and thrill of adventure were palpable in the air.

Such exercises are an essential part of maintaining a high level of safety and compliance with applicable legal regulations. Thanks to regular drills, guests using the Cieńków cable car can be assured that all safety procedures are meticulously followed.

We sincerely thank the Beskid Rescue Group GOPR for their professionalism and all individuals involved in preparing and conducting this undertaking. We invite you to visit the Cieńków cable car – with us, safety is always the top priority, and adventures are full of unforgettable experiences!
