Świnoujście is a town located among 44 islands, and the most beautiful of them is the Uznam Island, where the spa part of the city is located.
Thanks to its deposits of mud and brine, as well as the mild seaside climate, it has been a place valued by spa patients and holiday-makers for years. Guests from Poland, Germany and other countries come to the health resort all year round. The ten-kilometer long sandy beach was recognized by users of the onet.pl portal as the most beautiful in Poland. Świnoujście has also provided places for active recreation, providing numerous bicycle paths and running routes; you can practice water sports. There is no shortage of tourist and historical attractions - the former Town Hall houses the Fisheries Museum, and the city's military traditions are recalled by numerous Forts and the Underground City. Witnesses to history are sacred buildings: the Gothic Church from the 15th century on the island of Karsibór, the tower of the garrison Lutheran church and historic buildings from the 19th century, including the Baths of Emperor Frederick and the Spa Park founded in 1826.
